Hi,

I currently have the BrailleNote QT 32 from Humanware. It is the updated version from the MPower, the Apex. My issue is that, since I am not use to typing on such a small keyboard, I want to connect an external one to the BrailleNote. While I have connected a keyboard before of this type, my question is really how do you perform the same commands with an external keyboard as the QWETYR
one that is built-in to the unit? In other words, How do you perform commands if there is no function key or help key? Can you use an external keyboard and perform all of the same commands, as if I were using an internal one?
Thanks for all the help,
Nathan

Well, you could, but it needs some adjustment time. The function key is just the right alt key, READ is left alt, HELP is F1, REPEAT is F2, MENU is F3 and so forth. Due to extensive command differences, I'd say writing to the HW's mailing list should allow others to comment on this one better.
